Greggle Cottage B&B

Greggle Cottage is a typical cottage with steeply pitched pantile roof, low ceiling, beams, and inglenook fireplaces. Painted in the traditional Suffolk Pink it stands alone overlooking rolling countryside.

Where

The cottage is easy to find being on the A1120 on the road between Framsden and Earl Soham. Only 2.5 miles from Debenham, and convenient for Otley and Framlingham.

Local Interest

Being inland makes this the perfect place from which to explore Suffolk, both inland and the many places of interest on the coast, including Bressingham Steam Museam, Woodbridge and the Tide Mill, Sutton Hoo on the far side of the River Deben. Also Aldeburgh, Southwold, Minsmere and many other interesting places.

Framsden and Nearby Villages

The Villages in this area of Suffolk are particularly pretty with many cottages painted in Suffolk Pink. There are a number of pubs within a short drive (five to 10 minutes) which provide excellent meals. Helmingham Hall is only a short drive away, and during the Summer the gardens are open to the public on Sundays and Wednesdays between 2pm and 6pm.

Accommodation

The cottage offers cosy accommodation. On the ground floor is a twin/ double ensuite which overlooks the garden.

Upstairs is a double and single room with shared bathroom. There are tea and coffee making facilities and TV in each room.

Greggle Cottage is the ideal place to stay for anyone wanting to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Suffolk countryside. There are many places of interest nearby, or one can enjoy the countryside by taking a gentle walk along one of the many footpaths that criss-cross the area. Use of garden by arrangement. Ample off-road parking. No smoking. Dogs if well behaved.

From £25.00 per person per night. This is for bed and breakfast only. We do not provide evening meals.
